Taraclia District
Taraclia (Bulgarian: Тараклия) is a district (Moldovan: raion) in the south of Moldova, with the administrative center at Taraclia.
As of 1 January 2011, its population was 44,200, 65.6% of whom were ethnic Bulgarians. The county covers an area of 1,022 km² and has the lowest population density of all districts of Moldova.

Traditional Taraclia district, political and electoral support PCRM unlike the south part of Moldova. Communists have the largest percentage of the Moldova in this district. But the last three elections communists is a continuous fall in percentage.
